The anterior projection just distal to the trochlear notch; it helps form the elbow joint and provides attachment for the brachialis.
The distal, rounded end that articulates with the ulnar notch of the radius and with the triangular fibrocartilage complex at the wrist.
The sharp medial ridge running along the shaft where the interosseous membrane attaches, linking ulna to radius.
The large, posterior “hook” at the elbow that forms the point of the elbow and serves as the triceps’ insertion site.
Origins:
Insertions:
A shallow depression on the lateral side of the coronoid process where the head of the radius rests, forming the proximal radioulnar joint.
A pointed projection on the medial side of the ulnar head that serves as an attachment for the ulnar collateral ligament of the wrist.
A ridge on the lateral proximal ulna extending down from the radial notch; it provides origin for the supinator muscle.
The C-shaped articular surface just below the olecranon that grips the humeral trochlea.
A roughened area just below the coronoid process on the anterior shaft. Brachialis and flexor digitorum profundus attach here.
