Arm Elevation
When you raise your arm (especially in shoulder flexion or abduction), the coracobrachialis becomes more superficial because:
- The deltoid moves upward, reducing its coverage.
- The pectoralis major stretches, making underlying structures more apparent.
- The coracobrachialis is tensed, especially if there is resistance to the movement (e.g., holding an object or flexing the shoulder against resistance).
